NJ MentalHealthCares — 866-202-4357. Free, confidential behavioral-health information, emotional support, and referrals. Current NJ DHS hours: 8 a.m.–8 p.m. daily.
New Jersey Designated Screening Services — New Jersey has a designated psychiatric screening service for each county. These services provide psychiatric emergency assessment, crisis intervention, information, and referrals.
